Gemini API Key
Required for the Sentence Generator. Powers AI-generated example sentences from your flashcard words using Google's Gemini model.
Your key is stored locally on your device and never sent anywhere except directly to Google's API.
ℹ️ How to get a free Gemini API key
  1. Go to Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com/apikey).
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Click "Create API key" and select a project (or create one).
  4. Copy the generated key and paste it in the field above.
Note: Google may require you to link a billing account (credit card or billing address) to activate the API key. While the free tier is generous, usage beyond free limits may incur small charges on your Google account. Monitor your usage at Google Cloud Console.
